This story follows Tyler and Piper as they find their way back to each other, proving that second chances can be just as powerful as first loves. Once high school sweethearts who tried to make long distance work, they’re reunited four years later—and quickly discover that their connection never truly faded. Their journey is emotional, heartfelt, and full of the kind of chemistry that makes second-chance romances so irresistible.

Final Thoughts

Where do I even begin? I absolutely loved this book—it delivered everything I could have hoped for. The second-chance romance element was especially compelling, tapping into that universal feeling of wishing for a do-over with “the one that got away.”

While there’s slightly less focus on hockey in this installment, it allows for a deeper dive into the romance and character development, which I really appreciated. We also get to spend more time with the wider cast, adding even more depth to the series as a whole.

I’m already looking forward to seeing where this series goes next!
