'Loyal friend.
Rule breaker.
Always up for a good time.
And now, he’s my new roommate.
It’s only for a few weeks while I intern for the Wildcats—his new NHL team.
And there are some pros to living with my hot and ridiculous friend (or is that ridiculously hot?). He’s fun and unexpectedly sweet, and he reminds me not to take myself too seriously.
I had no intention of breaking the one rule given to me on my first day on the job: no sleeping with the players.
And if I had, I never dreamed that player would be Johnny Maverick.'

Wild Love (Campus Nights #4) by Rebecca Jenshak is a friends-to-lovers sports romance filled with humor and heart. Like the previous books in the series, it delivers swoony chemistry, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of emotional depth—and it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

In this final instalment of Campus Nights, we finally get the story we’ve all been begging for—Johnny Maverick’s. Throughout the series, we’ve seen him as the fun-loving, charming, shirtless, cocky friend, but we always knew there was so much more beneath the surface. Those deeper currents have been there all along, and now we finally get to see them.

We’ve known Mav and Kota since the very beginning of Campus Nights, watching them in the background as best friends and teammates—and it’s all been building toward one unforgettable story that neither of them will ever forget.

"Admit it, Admit what" my breath comes in quick gulps as his hazel eyes lock on me. "Admit you were jealous"

Johnny 🏒🏒🏒🏒

Johnny Maverick is the man of everyone’s dreams—tattooed, ridiculously wealthy, and effortlessly hot, yet somehow the most humble guy you’ll ever meet. To the world, Johnny is the party-loving, happy-go-lucky hunk of muscle who’s always crashing at the guys’ place, never arriving without his main girl, Charli—his beautiful, loyal pooch.

But beneath the easy grin and carefree charm lies a far more complex man. Johnny has had his eye on Dokota for a long time, quietly, carefully, never letting anyone see the deeper sides of him—the parts he keeps guarded, even from himself. Because Johnny Maverick is more than the legend everyone thinks they know… and the truth is far more dangerous..

Dokota 👟👟👟👟

Dakota Lawrence is perfectly content with her life at Valley University—except for one thing: she’s the only one in her tight-knit friend group who isn’t coupled up. Well, almost the only one. There’s also Mav—Johnny Maverick—the campus flirt who seems allergic to anything serious.

Mav lives for the moment, breaks the rules, and never sticks around long enough for things to get complicated. Dakota, on the other hand, knows exactly what she wants—and it’s not a fleeting hookup. No matter how often he turns on the charm, she’s always been immune.

Until now.

When an unexpected opportunity throws them together for the summer, avoiding Mav is no longer an option. And the more time they spend in close quarters, the harder it becomes to ignore the undeniable chemistry simmering between them.

As the days heat up, so do their feelings—and Dakota finds herself questioning everything she thought she knew. Is giving in to temptation just a temporary escape, or could it lead to something real?

A sizzling summer romance filled with tension, banter, and heart, this story explores what happens when opposites attract—and what it takes to turn a spark into something lasting.

💭💭💭

I didn’t know where to begin with this one, but as a huge fan of Rebecca Jenshak, my expectations were sky-high—and somehow, this book still exceeded them.

From the very start, I was completely hooked. The buildup between the characters and the undeniable chemistry between them made it impossible to put down. Every moment felt charged, and I found myself racing through the pages just to see what would happen next.

As with any final book in a series, there’s always that sense of bittersweet fulfilment. Getting to revisit beloved characters and see their stories come full circle is always special, and this book delivered that perfectly. But this one hit differently. My love for Mav never wavered throughout the series, and seeing him finally get his happily ever after felt like the perfect, well-deserved ending.

Like all of Rebecca Jenshak’s books, I’m already excited to see how these characters might connect to future stories. One thing is certain—my happy place will always be in the worlds she creates.
