I really enjoyed reading this book! I love revisiting past characters and watching how their relationships continue to grow and develop within the Valley U world.

Rebecca Jenshak’s writing always transports me back to a time of fun, excitement, and heart—her stories are the perfect mix of sports, romance, and drama.

I can’t wait to dive into The Pass, the final book in the Smart Jock series!

This was by far my favourite book in the Smart Jocks series to date!
The relationship between Gabby and Zeke—how they build each other’s confidence and support one another’s passions—is the kind of love we all hope for.

I also found this story incredibly relatable and well written, especially in how it handled Gabby’s RTA, her struggles, and her strength in overcoming them. Those moments made me even more excited to dive into Smart Jocks #3.

Katrina is chasing her dream of becoming a screenwriter while raising a toddler—and doing it all without relying on anyone else. Even with the disappointment of a baby daddy who can’t seem to make time for his son, she never makes it anyone else’s problem or asks for help.

Katrina has girl power written all over her.

Watching Joel grow and Katrina slowly lower her walls has been an absolute joy to read. Together, they’re the perfect balance—the harsh truths of reality mixed with the dreamland escape we all crave.

With the usual college drama, gossip, and pressures woven in, this book truly has it all. And I, for one, can’t wait to see how a single mum continues to fit into the rest of the Smart Jocks series.

This was my first single-mum storyline, and it did not disappoint. I loved watching both characters grow, especially the bond that developed between the male lead and the son.

The way Rebecca Jenshak writes makes everything feel authentic—never too much, never too silly. Every character’s feelings and point of view truly matter, and that’s what makes this story so special.

I was hooked the moment I realized that the hot jock was the one doing the tutoring. It’s usually the other way around, right? That twist alone made me want to dive into this story.

Wes isn’t your typical jock. He doesn’t party nonstop or juggle a string of girls—instead, he’s focused on his classes and basketball. And when he lets his guard down, he’s seriously swoon-worthy.

Blair only asks Wes to tutor her because she’s struggling in class, but after a little convincing on her part, he agrees. What starts as simple tutoring quickly becomes something much more…

Wes looks like he has it all from the outside, and Blair initially judges him for it. But as their interactions unfold, you begin to see just how much pressure he’s really under. The expectations placed on him would crush a lesser basketball player, yet he carries them with quiet determination—and the way he treats the people around him only makes him more irresistible.

Blair is just as likable. She’s trapped in a situation that makes her college life nearly impossible, doing her best to live her life while juggling far more than anyone her age should have to handle

Sorority girl Blair Olsen is in a bind—she’s being blackmailed by her ex and barely surviving her statistics class. Still, Blair radiates optimism, and she’ll need every ounce of it to approach the sexy, egotistical Wes Reynolds for help. Who would have thought this hot jock would become her lifeline to passing… and maybe something more?

I really enjoyed reading the first instalment of this series. Getting to meet all the side characters and stepping into the Valley U world Rebecca Jenshak has created was such a treat. I loved seeing all the bonds and friendships beginning to take shape, and it made everything feel so real and immersive.

I’m genuinely looking forward to the next book in the series—I think I may have just found my new favourite author!
